A new study led by Kristen Hinckley, Doctoral Student and member of the SEED lab, explores how caregivers in a rural Andean region of Peru, understand and practice responsive caregiving and early learning—two core components of the Nurturing Care Framework. Through qualitative interviews and a focus group with caregivers of young children, the [study](https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1002/icd.70036) highlights both alignment with global frameworks and important culturally specific caregiving beliefs. Findings offer practical guidance for designing more contextually relevant parenting programs. The article was published in *Infant and Child Development*.
