#  Doctoral student Jorge Cuartas presents his research before the Colombian House of Representatives

HGSE doctoral student Jorge Cuartas recently addressed the House of Representatives in Colombia as they consider a federal ban on corporal punishment. Jorge highlighted his own research showing the negative impacts of violence -- including harsh discipline -- on children's brain, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
