About

Welcome to the Settings for Early Education and Development (SEED) Lab!  Led by Professor Dana McCoy of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, our group of interdisciplinary researchers strives to measure, understand, and influence the multiple settings in which young children spend their time, including homes, schools, neighborhoods, and cultures more broadly.  In doing so, our objective is to strengthen young children's skills to help them to reach their full developmental potential.  Our work is global in scope, exploring the early development of low-income children in the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Ghana, Tanzania, and elsewhere.
