New research highlights children's care needs globally

May 1, 2022
A new paper published in the Lancet Child and Adolescent Health by SEED Lab members Dana McCoy, Jonathan Seiden, Jorge Cuartas, and Marcus Waldman shows that just one in four young children living in low- and middle-income countries were receiving minimally adequate nurturing care prior to the COVID pandemic.  The study, which uses data from more than 400,000 children, suggests that children are particularly in need of services that support their early learning and responsive caregiving.
