A new co-authored paper by doctoral student Marcus Waldman shows links between the timing of report card distribution and child abuse
New research published by a team of researchers including SEED Lab member Marcus Waldman has shown that a Friday report card release is associated with a four-fold spike in incidence rates of state-agency verified cases of physical abuse reports the following Saturday; no such association was observed if report cards were released on any other week day.
