New study published in JREE highlights challenges of supporting children's social-emotional needs
A recent paper led by Dr. Dana McCoy demonstrates the persistent challenges in delivering programming to impact students' social-emotional learning (SEL) needs in low-income communities in Brazil. The study, which was published in the Journal of Research in Educaitonal Effectiveness, found small, negative impacts of a school-based SEL program on third and fifth grade students' behavioral, emotional, and executive function outcomes.
