SEED Lab members present on global monitoring of early childhood development
The Global Scales for Early Development (GSED) is a World Health Organization-led initiative to harmonize measurement of early childhood development internationally for children under the age of 3. Members of the SEED Lab, including doctoral students Jonathan Seiden, Kenji Kitamura, and Mikayla Do, along with Dr. Dana McCoy, are working on creating global norms for early childhood development as an extension to the measure to help provide additional policy-level information and improve global monitoring of development for the youngest children. Recently, Kenji Kitamura and Jonathan Seiden presented this work at the Comparative International Education Society's conference in Miami to a packed audience. Stay tuned for more information on the GSED and the work on global norming being led by our team!
