Dr. Marcus Waldman is a Biostatistician at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He is  a former doctoral student in the SEED Lab and graduate of HGSE's doctoral program in quantitative policy analysis in education. His research interests involve the development and application of statistical methods to answer research questions in education, early childhood, and psychology. His expertise is in latent variable modeling, especially in the presence of missing data.  Before beginning his graduate studies, Marcus was a high school math teacher in Atlanta Public Schools. Marcus received his M.S. in Applied Statistics from Teachers College, Columbia University and his B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

While at HGSE, Marcus worked on both the CREDI and GSED projects, where he helped to develop simple approaches for rigorously measuring children's development globally.
