Michał Miąskiewicz is a doctoral student in Human Development, Learning, and Teaching at HGSE. In the SEED Lab, Michał coordinates work on a systematic review and meta-analysis of early childhood social and emotional development interventions in low- and middle-income countries.

Within the area of socio-emotional development, Michał is particularly interested in moral development, especially in the psychological mechanisms underlying the emergence of individual differences in prosociality. As the founding Program Director of the School of Education at the University of Warsaw, Michał hopes to eventually apply findings in this area to moral education.

Prior to his appointment at HGSE, Michał was a Fellow in Harvard’s Department of Psychology, where he studied the influence of moral reasoning on prosocial behavior with Prof. Joshua Greene, and a research assistant in the SEED Lab, where he contributed to the development of an ecologically-valid Regulation-Related Skills Measure (RRSM).

Michał received an A.B. in Government from Harvard University and an Ed.M. in Mind, Brain and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
