A new study with Dr. Sharon Wolf shows gaps in parental investment and school readiness for low-income Ghanaian children

New work published in Child Development by Dr. Sharon Wolf (UPenn) and Dr. McCoy suggests that household wealth and parental education are both predictive of more positive school readiness skills for Ghanaian preschoolers, with these links at least partially explained by parents' involvement in school, provision of a stimulating home environment, and investment in learning resources.  Click here to read the full study.
